Darren Moore’s West Brom continue to defy the odds after a shock win against Tottenham on Saturday.

Jake Livermore popped up with the only goal of the game in the second minute of injury time to send the Baggies fans crazy as Darren Moore’s remarkable impact since taking charge continued.

Moore’s men made it 11 points from five games with a win over Champions League hopefuls Tottenham.

The caretaker manager admitted that, although things are still out of Albion’s hands, he was delighted to be part of an “electric” Hawthorns atmosphere for the final time this season.

“The place was electric today. We thank the fans. They were our twelfth man today,” he said.

“We’ve come together as a group and we’re just working. The hard work is paying off. We’ll just move on to next week’s game. We can’t do anything about what happens elsewhere.

“It’s another good three points for us. It was a really good performance by the boys. They gave everything today.

“We spoke about commitment, desire and courage. They’ve shown that since I’ve stepped into this role. They’ve been second to none.

“I’m so pleased, again, for everybody connected with the football club. The message is clear again – when we all come together, we can achieve a lot.”
